Acer provided the hard and soft landscaping for the show home and housing to this stunning scheme for Michael Shanley Homes. The scheme was designed by Landscape Architect, Julie Johnson. Each plot was individually designed to provide a varied street scene including decking, mature planting and artistic garden features.

Acer Landscapes have worked with Telford Homes to redevelop the former Queen Mary's College in South Woodford.

The scheme incorporated a parkland area, water gardens and raised podium gardens.

Acer carried out the top soiling, automatic irrigation installation, tree planting and turfing on the project which won Best Communal Garden Silver Award in 2008.

This pocket park was part of the communal garden in a development of 43 private flats. The pools and water cascades were designed to work with the steep slope of the site and were built of concrete.

The soft landscaping included a curvilinear clipped Yew hedge which was contract grown for Acer Landscapes at a specialist nursery.
